Science Films

Beyond creating the climate education YouTube channel, ClimateAdam, I’ve produced award-winning scientific films for wide ranging publications.

These have ranged from documentaries to animations, quantum physics to health. My work has involved everything from heading up larger teams, to solo-productions that involve all aspects of production, including direction, filming, editing and presenting.

Below I’ve included just a brief selection of some of my favourites!

  • I’ve worked single-handedly to produce groundbreaking scientific documentaries. This has involved, coordination, travel, direction, filming, interviewing and editing pieces for publications. The results have included stand-alone films and the video component of immersive multimedia features.

  • I’ve worked with incredible, talented teams to put together complex animations and stop-motion films, to tell scientific stories that couldn’t be shared in any other way. Overseeing these productions has meant having the vision to get from the first ideas to a completed story, and integrating the ideas of everyone from scientific experts to artistic animators.

  • I have conducted hundreds of interviews over the years both on and off camera. I’ve also acted as presenter for many video projects, bringing together narratives and interviews, and setting the tone for films.

  • I’ve been honoured to research and write scripts not just for my own projects, but also for films for huge platforms, including multiple PBS Digital Studios channels.
