Whether providing workshops in climate change for journalists, or communications training for researchers, I’ve been thrilled to share my experiences and expertise with professionals at the forefronts of their fields.

I’ve also provided more tailored training through mentorships. Most recently, this has been through the Solutions Journalism Network - providing personalised feedback to a journalist, as well as workshops on video journalism to a group of fellows.

I also mentor a young refugee in Berlin on a voluntary basis, which I enjoy a huge amount.

Education is at the heart of everything that I do, but I love the opportunity to work directly with schoolkids to build up climate literacy. This has included workshops and talks in schools, online question and answer sessions, and contributions to broadcasts for kids (for example through BBC Bitesize and Sky News Kids.

Teaming up with influencers and content creators is an amazing way of reaching new people with essential climate info. I hosted the fantastic Creators for Climate 2024 (organised by Google and the European Climate Foundation), and have paired up with a range of creators - appearing in videos, podcasts, and even kayaking to a windfarm!
